Informed consent
Before we process a sample we need your informed consent for the specific genetic test you booked.
What you agree to
- A saliva swab will be collected and analysed for the markers in that test.
- A password-protected report will be issued to you (and, if you choose, to a clinician).
- The sample is tracked by a unique QR code. Personal information is delinked.
What you can refuse
- Research or commercial use of your sample is opt-in. You may decline and still receive the test you booked.
- You may withdraw research consent later. We will not pay compensation for research participation.
Destruction
Samples are securely destroyed 90 days after the specific genetic test report.
If you do not understand any part of this, wait and ask us or your clinician before you swab.
